About This Product

These are traditional Hakka-style noodles made entirely from foxtail millet flour. The grain is sourced from rain-fed farms in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra where it has been grown for generations. After sun-drying and stone milling, the flour is mixed with water and extruded into flat Hakka noodle strands. No maida is used and the noodles are not fried  they are slow-dried only. The strands cook firm, drain clean without sticking, and absorb stir-fry flavours well. They are a practical replacement for regular wheat-based Hakka noodles for people replacing maida from their daily meals.

How It's Grown & Processed

Farming Method

Rain-fed dryland farming in South and Central India. Foxtail millet grown on naturally enriched red soil. Crop rotation with legumes. No synthetic fertilizers or irrigation is used.

Processing Method

Grain cleaned → sun-dried → stone de-husked → milled to flour → water mixed → extruded as flat Hakka strands → slow-dried → graded, sorted, and packed.
