About This Product

Kodo millet dosa is a traditional preparation in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh where kodo millet has been grown and eaten for generations by farming communities. This instant mix makes kodo dosa accessible without the traditional soaking and grinding process. The mix uses stone-milled kodo millet flour as the primary grain, blended with urad dal flour for the right batter consistency. No baking soda, no preservatives, and no artificial flavoring are used. The kodo millet is sourced from rain-fed farms in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Just add water, rest, and pour on a hot tawa. The dosas are crispy, slightly nutty in taste, and have a warm, earthy tone from the kodo grain.

Farming Method

Rain-fed cultivation on poor, rocky soil in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. No irrigation. No synthetic fertilizers. Grown by tribal and small farm communities as a traditional seasonal crop.

Processing Method

Kodo grain cleaned → sun-dried → stone de-husked → milled to fine flour → blended with urad dal flour in set ratio → moisture-protected pouches → batch dated.
