About This Product

Mango pickle is one of the most widely consumed traditional condiments in Indian cooking, made and preserved in homes and small production units across Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat for generations. Raw, unripe mango is the base, sourced at the right stage of hardness when the flesh is firm, and the acidity is high enough for natural preservation. The mangoes are cut, sun-dried briefly to remove surface moisture, and then mixed with mustard seeds, fennel seeds, fenugreek, turmeric, red chili, and cold-pressed mustard oil. No vinegar, no artificial preservatives, and no synthetic colour is used. The mixture is packed into containers and allowed to mature for a minimum of three to four weeks before packing for sale.

How It's Grown & Processed

Farming Method

Raw unripe mangoes sourced from orchards in Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, and Gujarat at the correct pre-ripening stage. Traditional orchard farming with minimal synthetic inputs in the premium grade. Mangoes are hand-picked at the right size and hardness.

Processing Method

Raw mangoes cleaned and cut to size → surface moisture removed by brief sun-drying → mixed with whole and ground spice blend → cold-pressed mustard oil added → filled into clean containers → matured for 3–4 weeks → quality checked → sealed and packed.

Shelf Life

9 months from date of packing

Storage Advice

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Always use a dry spoon; moisture inside the jar causes spoilage. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 3 months. Keep the oil level above the mango pieces at all times.
